Co-created with Lisa Ott at the National Film and Television School as part of our respective MAs, Dragfox is a stop-motion animated short that has made an extraordinary impact on the international stage.

Following its world premiere at Telluride, the Ian McKellen-led film has been officially selected for over 100 international festivals — including numerous BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying events — and has earned widespread acclaim from critics, audiences, and industry professionals alike.

Among its accolades, Dragfox has won a Student BAFTA, Student Royal Television Society award, and was a nominee at the Student Oscars.. As part of the British Council and BFI’s Five Films for Freedom initiative, the film has reached millions worldwide. And the film has played on some iconic screens including Piccadilly Circus, the American Museum of Natural History, and the TCL Chinese Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to name just a few.
